Ed Samuel is a senior Executive Career, Life Coach, Ministry Leader, Author, Radio Host, certified Career Assessment and DiSC Personality I.D. Consultant and Team Leader and founder of SamNova, Inc. based in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. He leads a monthly forum for Career Professionals Executive Networking Group (CPENG) for greater Newark, DE. Ed is also a Believers in Business (BIB) chapter leader for a business owners group in greater King of Prussia, PA that meets twice a month. Ed hosts two (2) radio programs in Philly on 1180 am WFYL, called “Optimize Your Career" and “Crown Biblical Stewardship” on Saturday mornings both of which are streamed across the US. He is a frequent guest on national and regional radio stations and podcasts. Ed is an ambassador and served on the Board for a Christian think tank called Cross Talks in support of entrepreneurs and small business owners at the cusp of growth.
Ed is one of the US leaders and Ambassadors for Crown Financial Ministries (Crown.org) since 2013. He has worked with up to 60 churches, delivered mini-sermons on Sunday mornings, and led stewardship training to 2000+ people to date. He has trained 18+ Money Life Coordinators (volunteers) to lead stewardship at their respective churches. Ed counsels individuals and couples at his office in Kennett Square, PA and has a tax-deductible non-profit foundation in Colorado to support this effort.
Ed began his career with Digital Equipment Corporation, where he spent 19 years in Accounting and Customer Operations. He was also General Manager for The Stride Rite Corp., garnered international experience as Global Director of Customer Administration with QAD, Inc., VP of Operations and CFO for two (2) distinct high-tech venture firms for Mead/Westvaco and was a certified and licensed Financial Advisor for UBS.
Before launching his career coaching firm, Ed was a retained, contingency and consulting recruiter with more than five (5) years-experience at both national and boutique firms. In addition, he led a large recruiting team for W.L. Gore’s billion-dollar medical device manufacturing and sales division in Arizona. Ed has also provided executive outplacement transition support for CCI Consulting, Inc., a Career Partners International affiliate. Ed has an uncanny ability to relate to so many due to his broad background and holding no less than 38 different and unique paid roles in his career.
Ed holds a B.A. from Wilmington University - summa cum laude and undergraduate degree in Accounting. He is a certified retirement coaed at ch, certified Career Direct Trainer and Consultant and certified DISC Personality ID consultant and Trainer.
